On August 7th of 2007, Architectural Testing Inc. was contracted by R & D Services to perform impact testing per Miami Dade Test Protocols High Velocity Hurricane zone, Test Protocol TAS 201-94 on three (3) Fibrecrete LLC Lightweight Panels.
Documented results demonstrated from a 2" X 12" 4 ft Long Yellow Pine Missile weighing 9.2 lbs being fired 17 ft at 50.1 FPS Impact left a 3/16" indention in the Panel. (Copies of Certified Test Results available upon request).

In-house fire test
During our final tests, we found that by mixing the composite with the right ingredients, in a commercial mixer, the substance changed into a foam and was much lighter when cured than expected, approximately 25 lbs. per cubic foot. With the foaming action, minute air pockets were formed, sealed from one another throughout the mix, thus leading to an insulation value of well over R-36 per 10 in. thickness, plus the mass factor that was established by the National Bureau of Standards, in 1983 on log homes, which made the total insulation value of R-50 to R-60.
We conducted numerous tests to find the optimum strength by changing the mix ratios. Tests were done on 1/2 cubic foot test cylinders, which yielded 40,000 lbs. per square foot, 710 lbs. per cubic inch of weight capacity. We found that we could raise the strength by simply changing the mix ratio of the admix. Comparatively, concrete has a test value of 2,000 lbs. per square inch but weighs 100 or more lbs. per cubic foot, and has little, or no insulation value.
